Applications for our 2025 Internship Program are now closed. We will open applications for 2026 early next year.

Our internships are for curious and enthusiastic students in their penultimate year of study who can push boundaries, challenge thinking and examine a problem from all angles. A background in business is not required – our strategy consultants come from a diverse range of academic backgrounds including, but not limited to, science, engineering, arts, law, medicine, economics and commerce.

If you are interested in a career in management consulting, EY Port Jackson Partners can provide you with an incomparable intern opportunity. We offer the connection and flexibility of a smaller close-knit practice, without compromising the quality of a top-tier strategy consulting experience and having some fun while doing it!

Internships are available in both our Sydney and Melbourne offices.

Summer Internship December – February

Our Summer Internship Program runs over 12 weeks with a 3 week break over the Christmas/New Year period. A summer internship offers you invaluable hands-on experience and can set you up for a successful career once you complete your studies. From day one you will become an integral part of the team. You will receive a structured induction, on-the-job training, networking opportunities and work on real projects in one or two of our three practice areas: Corporate Advisory, Government and Deals Strategy, playing an important role in project deliverables.

Winter Development Program June – July

We offer a three week Winter Development Program which runs across June – July each year. On this development program you will receive comprehensive training and have the opportunity to spend time with consultants and Partners from our practice areas: Corporate Advisory, Government and Deals Strategy. You will work alongside a project team solving complex problems from one of these practice areas.

Application Process

There are two stages to our application process:

  • Application form – it will take you around 5 minutes to complete our application form where you share your CV, academic transcript and answer some standard questions (there in no need for a cover letter).
  • Chat interview – you will then be invited via email to complete a chat based interview, where you will be asked behavioural interview questions (like you would in a face to face interview), this will take you around 30 -40 minutes to complete. This chat interview is powered by AI as we think that it’s the most effective way to remove bias and maximise inclusion. In return for completing the chat interview you will receive some key insights into yourself and a coaching tip that my help you with future interviews.

Your application will be then reviewed by our Graduate Recruitment Team and you will hear back from us either via email or phone as soon as possible.
