Applications for our 2026 graduate program have now closed.

We encourage candidates from all academic backgrounds to apply – a background in business is not required. Our strategy consultants come from a diverse range of academic backgrounds including science, engineering, arts, law, medicine, economics and commerce. Our consultants all share a passion for problem solving, curiosity, enthusiasm, and a track record of achievement and creating impact.

To apply, you should be a final year undergraduate (or have graduated within the last 2 years) and be able to work without restrictions in Australia. There are two stages to our application process:

  • Application form – it will take you around 5 minutes to complete our application form where you share your CV, academic transcript and an optional cover letter.
  • Online assessment – you will then be required to complete an online assessment, which comprises two modules that test your numerical and logical reasoning. You will receive an email with a link to the assessment, which will take you around 30 minutes to complete.

Your application will be then reviewed by our Graduate Recruitment Team, and you will be notified of the outcome by phone or email in mid-March. Successful candidates will be invited to participate in interviews, with first round interviews to be held on 18-20 March and second round interviews to be held on 25-27 March.

More details, tips and practice case studies to assist you with your application can be found here.

Who we are

We are not just another management consulting firm. For over 30 years we have remained committed to what we believe is a distinctive approach to consulting, while others have changed. We deploy small teams (typically half the size – or less – of our peers) led by eminent Partners who are sharply focused on strategic problems. By design, we are not built for large scale implementation work.

Smaller teams do not mean smaller problems or clients. We advise the CEOs, Boards and senior leaders of Australia’s largest companies, including several of the ASX20. We advise the secretaries and deputy secretaries of state and federal government departments about the country’s most pressing public issues. And we advise major Australian and international PE funds on deals worth billions of dollars each year.

What we can offer you

We can provide you with an incomparable career opportunity. We offer the connection and flexibility of a boutique practice, without compromising the quality of your top-tier strategy consulting experience. As we like to say we have a small firm feel with a global reach.

Our projects are as diverse as our people. You will not be pigeon-holed into specialising in a particular industry or type of problem but will have broad exposure to a range of clients, problems and problem-solving approaches. Over the course of a year, you may expect to complete 5-10 projects tackling diverse topics such as the energy transition, healthcare economy, critical resources, financial services, and private equity. This is possible because our projects typically last 4-8 weeks, unlike the multi-month or multi-year projects of our competitors.

Our small team “apprenticeship” model means that, from day one, you will learn directly from our Partners and engage with senior leaders in industry. You will quickly become a part of our close-knit culture that values humility, connection and balance.

What we look for

As advisors of choice to Australia’s leading executives, Boards and government leaders we are very selective of our graduates. Our graduates have a track record of outstanding academic performance (typically distinction average or higher) coupled with demonstrable impact outside of academia. They demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.

As a firm we are committed to on-going learning and development for all our people. Our graduates receive extensive training in many forms from an induction program that is made up of getting to know the firm, technical skills development and soft skills workshops, mentoring and one-on-one coaching on the job from those who have been through it before you. All employees have their own Development Coach throughout their career with us and we run informal lunch and learn sessions, have interesting guest speakers and much more.
