The graduate Business Analyst role at EY PJP

EY Port Jackson Partners is one of Australia’s leading strategy-focused consultancies. We advise CEOs, Boards and senior leaders in business and government on their most pressing strategic issues. We are not just another management consulting firm. We are sharply focused on strategic problems. Our projects are as diverse as our people and you will experience the variety and challenge of a true generalist career at EY PJP.

We can provide you with an incomparable career opportunity. We offer the connection and flexibility of a boutique practice, without compromising the quality of your top-tier strategy consulting experience, as we like to say we have a small firm feel with a global reach.

You will not be pigeon-holed into specialising in a particular industry or type of problem, but will have broad exposure to a range of clients, problems and problem solving approaches. Our small teams mean that, from day one, you will learn directly from our experienced Partners and engage with senior leaders of some of Australia’s biggest public and private companies as well as federal and state government. You will quickly become a part of our close knit culture that values humility, connection and balance.

Our graduates have a track record of outstanding academic performance and interesting extra-curricular activities. They share a commitment to making a real impact for our clients and community and demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.

As a firm we are committed to on-going learning and development for all our people. Our graduates receive extensive training in many forms from an induction program that is made up of getting to know the firm, technical skills development and soft skills workshops, mentoring, one to one coaching on the job from those who have been through it before you, all employees have their own Development Coach throughout their career with us and we run informal lunch and learn sessions, have interesting guest speakers and much more.

Applying for the 2025 Graduate Program – now closed

You should be a final year undergraduate (or have graduated within the last 2 years) and be able to work without restrictions in Australia.  There are two stages to our application process:

  • Application form – it will take you around 5 minutes to complete our application form where you share your CV, academic transcript and answer some standard questions (there in no need for a cover letter).
  • Chat interview – you will then be invited via email to complete a chat based interview, where you will be asked behavioural interview questions (like you would in a face to face interview), this will take you around 20 – 25 minutes to complete. This chat interview is powered by AI as we think that it’s the most effective way to remove bias and maximise inclusion. In return for completing the chat interview you will receive some key insights into yourself and a coaching tip that my help you with future interviews.

Your application will be then reviewed by our Graduate Recruitment Team and you will hear back from us either via email or phone as soon as possible.

More details, tips and practice case studies to assist you with your application can be found here.

EY PJP is committed to removing systemic barriers to inclusion and improving the employment prospects of people with disability. For this reason, we encourage you to share with us via email at careers@eyportjacksonpartners.com any adjustments you may require or information that may help us to ensure you are able to equitably participate in the recruitment process.
