PJP enables me to learn directly from experienced Associates and Partners. This has helped me to build confidence and be comfortable with taking ownership of my work.
Rebecca joined Port Jackson Partners as a Business Analyst, relocating from Perth following the completion of her studies at the University of Western Australia.
During her time with PJP, Rebecca has worked across a range of different industries. Her experience includes a number of projects in the energy sector, both in the public policy space and with a large electricity retailer. She was also involved in developing a growth strategy for a leading Australian home builder.
Rebecca has also been able to leverage her economics background, conducting research and analysis into various aspects of Australia’s taxation system and assessing the impacts of taxation regimes around the world from the perspective of different businesses. She is especially passionate about her research into the gas market, and public policy questions more broadly.
Education
Rebecca has a Bachelor of Philosophy (Economics and Indonesian) with First Class Honours from the University of Western Australia. She received the UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarship and the Australian Government New Colombo Plan Scholarship in 2015.
